Happenings

Dear Parents and Families,

Thank you for joining us for our Family Math Night! It was wonderful to see so many of you come together in support of our students and their learning. Your presence and partnership truly make a difference in our school community.

We are especially grateful to Yaimee Herrera, our Bilingual Supervisor, who opened the evening by sharing valuable information about our Dual Language Program. Her insights helped families better understand the benefits of bilingualism and the ways we work to support students in both languages.

Throughout the evening, families explored simple and practical ways to strengthen math skills at home. Parents learned how to use everyday household items to build fact fluency in fun and engaging ways. These small, consistent practices can make a big impact on students’ confidence and mathematical understanding.

In addition, families gained strategies to nurture leadership skills at home by reinforcing the principles of the 7 Habits. Supporting these habits helps our students grow not only as strong learners, but also as responsible, confident leaders.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers for planning meaningful activities and to our families for taking the time to attend and participate. Your collaboration helps create the strong home–school partnership that our students need to thrive.

We look forward to many more opportunities to learn and grow together.

With appreciation,

Zebbie Belton, Principal
